Maryland has a lot of returners from the 2025 season, but there is still plenty of opportunity for breakout candidates to emerge in 2026 considering the Terps lost significant production at receiver, on the defensive front and in the secondary:
If Maryland is going to take a step forward from a 4-8 team in 2025 to one that could compete for a bowl game, the Terps need several key returners to raise their level of play.
